It's already happening. These Banctec managers are nuts. Maybe they're even Democrats.

Do you get your talking points from Fixed News, Comedian Rush Limbaugh, or both?? It's a proven fact that those responsible for corporate decisions donate mostly to the Republican party.

It really doesn't matter whether they're Republicans, Independents, or Democrats anyway. The decisions they make are boneheaded nonetheless.

The Bunktek people should get national awards for courage for what they went through and how they suffered at the hands of Banctec. They stood up for what was right and didn't take their true workplace abuse sitting down. To all who were involved in resisting real corporate crime against workers: I SALUTE YOU, AMERICA SALUTES YOU. If only others would follow your example, but then... there are cowards among us.

the boston area call volume has crashed while unisys (with a month or so notice from Dell picked up the slack) The district was taken over 6 months ago by a banctech guy, their people put on the job and the surveys went straight in the crapper. now as a qxs guy with 9's across the board i'm stuck looking for a new job. (i actually like w2 work and the schedule etc...)

baqexserv put their part timers on calls over existing qxs part timers because they made 10$ less a call. You get what you pay for....

Now all those part-timers are making all-9's and they cost less than you. And they love starting work at 9am every morning and ending at 9pm (Dell's new "NBD nights and weekends"...oh yea, you work Saturdays too if the EU wants you then). Twelve hour days with no OT, and huge 8 to 10-hour gaps in between calls. If you complain, see ya.

The very best time to leave is NOT NOW. Autumn and spring are the field tech's, "take it up the ass and ENJOY IT" season. Since volume is so low, the companies can easily give 20% pay cuts. If you quit, the other techs will be more than happy to pick up the slack.

It has been proven that this is Dəll's reward for doing good work. If CE scores are 90% or higher, they give a pay cut. The company (whether it's QXS, Unisys, Decision One, etc.) passes that paycut onto you, the tech. Companies that punish good behavior don't last long.

The very best time to leave is when the weather warms back up, all those computers overheat from clogged heat sinks and the LCD backlights fry from the constant household voltage surges and drops from the A/C constantly kicking on and off and on and off and...

Of course, when the weather warms up, and the volume increases again, most techs fall for the same old peanut butter in the same old mouse trap. I left when the weather warmed up, the volume exploded, and I never looked back.

This isn't the fall slow down, overall volume is good in the area, it's just that unisys is doing it all now. 2 weeks ago i was averaging 30-38 calls a week for at least 2 months (at about 25 hours or so a week) and then the rug got pulled out by the banctech boys bad CE scores.

How do I get a hold of Unisys HR to apply for this specific job....

ugh.

PS how is it that the DM's head doesn't roll given the 4 years i've been here it's been steady (other than seasonal down time) and within 6 months of his taking over the district everything is in the crapper. I've had one bad ce report in 2 years and i got a verbal warning!

It sounds like the dipshits at Banktech bought into the survey thing a long time ago. My bud at quallyserv says you got to kiss the customer's asses and then bend over yourself and take it. Couldn't work for zomboids like that.

The Banctec "purchase" has amounted to a hostile takeover by Banctec. I hate these fucking Banctec micromanagers - they don't have any common sense. Now it's time for them to manage qualxserve into the ground. Shit.
