|
|
SMELLY DELLY replaced the first laptop and now the second one is slower than the first I asked if the replacement was a refurb and was told no it was new but i don't believe them. My power cord ha sgone bad now four times in 2 months I was talking (YELLING) with support yesterday and now they are sending a live person to the house to look at this piece of junk.
This is the worse computer I have ever owned
Can anyone tell me how to tell if this was a refurb.
Thanks |

| If it was a replacement, then it was a refurb. 99.99% of exchanges/replacements are refurbs. |

In the first 21 days, they tend to replace with new. After that, they tend strongly to replace with refurb unless they just don't have any.
Refurbs have a red sticker on the bottom.
They are supposed to replace with "like or better", but that doesn't always happen. They might have snuck a slower chip in it. Have you removed all the Dell bloatware they install? That slows it down. _________________ Rocke T Sinetist

Get a software called EVEREST Ultimate Edition and run it. It will tell you every component that is in your computer. Go through each one and make sure everything is "like or better".
Dell is notorious for sneaking in inferior components in replacements. They don't give a damn. All they give a shit about is making as much money as they can with the littlest amount of work, the bastards. |
