I am sure yall are tired of me. But I have another question. I logged into my dell account and I see that I have a new order pending.

It is the replacement for the oldest of the 2 laptops purchased
Instead of pasting it all here, I uploaded it and you can see it here

Original

Replacement

The formatting it a little off, sorry.

I see it has vista vs xp, the same amount of ram, but I see no wireless card and I can't tell about the processor.

If this is not the place to be asking this, I'm sorry. just delete it and I'll find somewhere else to ask

Pentium Merom Dual Core,T2330,1.6 <-- processor
Module,Card(Circuit),Network DW1395,Inspiron,Dell Americas Organization <-- wifi card

the machine looks about the same physically (similarly designed chassis), has a newer generation processor, and wifi card.

You may find certain performance parameters slow, as Vista is a hog. But otherwise looks like you got the "same or better" replacement.

All of which is, like I said somewhere, rather remarkable, as even warranty customers don't readily get replacements unless 3 attempts to fix it fail.

I am still in shock they are replacing both laptops. From what I can read on the 2nd one, it look "the same or better" as well. right?

I can think of no real good reason they did this. Maybe I rang the bell of the right person, or there is more to the whole deal than they are owning up to.

I still don't trust them, and won't actually believe any of it, until they are delivered and working.

And really, no one should have to go through and waste time like I did to get heard. It should be a simple call or two and maybe a followup email and that's it. Of course, if they made them like they used too, there wouldn't be a need for even that much!
