The roller coaster did go over the cliff today. Around 50 people in my department were let go. Everyone left at Dell good luck and I am signing off. Cool

Best of luck to you if you were one that was let go but like most everyone says there is life after DHell.

Can you give us any more details as to the group or division that was affected or what building are you (or were you) in?

i heard quite a few people in LVR where let go in OKC today

It looks to me like we have way too many rumors on this subject and very few facts. It is frustrating.

If one is interested in seeing a change in Dell, they should go to facebok and Search DSPQ. This is not spam, but it is pertinent information. DSPQ is Dell Service Provider Que. Round Rock DSPQ is gone.

Well here's something that's not rumour. Today is the last day for 95% of the ottawa folks that are left. They asked for volunteers not to be laid off, and apparently got them so a few at least are staying until september. Payouts are due for deposit July 11.

I will see some familiar faces at the HR sendoff. Anyone feel free to say hi if you've figured it out.
Dell will make everyone sign nondisclosure agreements . Of that you can be sure. Funny thing is I've seen them, and didnt take time to read them . From what I understand they are pretty nasty. Unenforceable but nasty. They could of course tie you up in court until your bankrupt and i wouldnt put it past them.

So farewell to all, I'll keep an eye and look out for familiar faces . I think we should have a local board for folks to keep in contact with from ottawa. Where you all going to work for?
