Ok folks here is one to scratch your head over. I have a DVD of a live concert that still plays the video part but the audio stopped working when playing on my desktop. It did work fine for months. I tried the DVD in my DVD player on the TV and the sounds works fine so it is not the disc. I also tried another concert DVD on the desktop without changing any settings and it plays both video and audio just fine. Any ideas?? I am using XP with Cyberlink Power DVD and also tried Real Player and Widows Media Player same result no sound. Any ideas??

your audio codec is not installed, or corrupted. Download the K-Lite Codec pack.

Included in the full pack is a couple pretty useful tools, including a much lighter and more responsive media player than WMP.

YAAAAAAY!! Diashto gets the golden headset award!! LOL! Did what you suggested and it fixed the problem! So now I am listening to my Eagles:Hell Freezes Over concert again!
