My story so far...

1) My laptop stopped charging...Just completely stopped. And they said it was my fault. After hanging up on 3 different Reps and closing 2 live chats. I found the bios update my self.
2) First hard drive crashed. Completely just stopped working, black screen.
3) Screen stopped working, 1/3 of the screen worked. Once again my fauly.
4) now my replacement hard drive crashed. I've had the hard drive for 2 months.

All of this stuff happend within the last 3 months. Over and Over again. I can not stand the reps that make you do the dumbest things to fix the problem that never work. My hard drives apparently all have virus btw...so nice. Every hard drive has disc errors over and over again. I've lost so much stuff it's unreal

My warrent is up in 6 days. to extend its $100 some odd dollars. Why even bother? Fuck dell. Fuck Vista and Fuck pc. I hate this crap. Buying a Mac

I was seriously thinking of buying a Mac too but will all my Windows software run on a Mac?

If you load Boot Camp, you can have both Mac OS X and Windows on it and choose which OS you want to use at startup, or you can use Parallels and run Windows in a virtual desktop from the Mac OS. Either way will allow you to use your Windows software on your Mac, however, it will be as vulnerable to viruses, worms, trojans and spyware as any other Wintel box.

I heard about Boot Camp but didn't know about Parallels. I'm not crazy about dual booting multi-OS. There's something else called "CrossOver"
Code:
http://www.codeweavers.com/products/cxmac/

that lets you run most (but not all) Windows apps integrated into the Mac OS X.

I wish the Mac had the ability to run all Windows apps. Even better, software somehow coded so they could run on any OS and do away with all that proprietary crap.
