Let me fill in the voids of ill thought with another parting comment:
Dell uses more lithium ion batteries than any other manufacture. Lithium is used in medicine to treat manic depressive disorder. The price of lithium on the open market is becoming more expensive every day. Dell is going to do the 'green' thing and will be encouraging those consumers who purchased a Dell laptop and have had battery failure to donate the battery back to us. We will grind the lithium battery up and provide the metallic ion for medical use to the poor and impoverished in third world countries. Dell is doing the right thing. Dell is doing the green thing. Dell does good things. You can help support the treatment of sick people in third world countries by buying Dell and Dell products. God shines on those who help the poor. Have a nice day, and GO DELL!

Maybe he really means it. I mean, after all - we ARE talking about D(h)ell; it's not like they care about people in third world countries - they just care about the media getting the IMPRESSION that they care about people in third world countries.
