Perhaps you would allow us to exchange the battery for a new one? I can arrange fro you to get a 50% discount on the battery. Then I could give a recycling credit of $50 if you send the worn out battery back to us. That would leave a net charge of $100 for a BRAND NEW $300 battery. You must pay the $49 shipping and handling charge both ways though. Pointof View what do you say to that? My manager surprises me everyday with his generosity. Managers like him make the world a better and more tolerable place.

DellMgmt, we all work or have worked for DELL and we've heard all your BS before. Why are you here? To spread lies? I suggest you change your handle/nick to Judas... it seems more fitting. Trying to get us to drop our guard so you can rat us out?
You are as untrustworthy as DELL is. Perhaps you should go hang out someplace other than here.

The $49 charge would, of course, have to be paid up front. By Western Union to some European or African address. Prior to my getting anything in return...........poetic justice that one of these scammers with the usual hotmail or AOL or other generic address shows up scamming on a site relating to Dell---maybe they really aren't that far apart.................

Didn't you know? Michael Dell IS a Nigerian prince. (What's the real difference between Houston and Nigeria, anyway?)

I say we storm Houston then and go looking for this goof.

He'll stick out like a sore thumb, so it won't be hard at all.

In Houston, everyone is either a creep or a thug. He'd blend right in.

I just encountered a pop-up ad for Dell on another site--guess what? They are touting their battery life on their notebooks!!! In general terms, of course. No explanation of course that they go out every year?! I hope the California class-action attorney is taking note.

Ah. When they quote it in an ad, it means how long the charge will run the machine, not how long before the battery won't work at all any more.

Dell will use the written word in the most resourceful ways to say exactly what they want to say, and leave you to interpret it yourselves which almost always ends up being exactly the opposite of what they said in the first place.

Classic marketing. Think of it as reverse fine print.

Kinda what the evangelical extremists accused rockers of doing with lyrics in the 70s. Rolling Eyes

I don't know what they fret about today, since you can no longer put your 'turntable' in neutral and turn it backwards, and the lyrics forward are satanic enough.

Isn't that a direct quote from "Alice In Wonderland"?
