As a stock investor, I have come to the conclusion that Dell sucks. It doesn't matter if you are talking about the stock, the company, the products or the man. Dell sucks. It really is that simple.

It is amazing how Dell used to have an endless supply of new customers. It wasn't super important to make sure the customer experience was good. There were always new customers.

Now that has changed. Everybody knows somebody that bought a Dell machine and had a horrible experience. Some people get multiple dead machines. Others can't get the technical support they need. Others are over billed and can't get resolution, especially the DFS customers. The word is getting around and Dell is finding it very difficult to attract the new customers it needs to grow.

And the reason is: Dell sucks.

Tell Dell that. They are perpetually claiming that they have no shortage of clientele.

In 80% of their profit market, Dell's only competition is HP. Nobody else can deliver hundreds, thousands of systems to institutional customers within the customer's timeframe (while the institution's purchase order is valid).

Why Dell even bothers with consumer is beyond explanation, other than to keep someone else from getting it. Dell hates individual purchasers. Look how they're treated!

Wait. Consumer feeds Dell Financial, the biggest business crooks since the era of Caribbean pirates. Maybe that's why. Why else do all the print and TV ads, with the come-on lowball crap systems and 'zero percent financing' that miraculously, nobody qualifies for even after the salesman said you did?

At the risk of offending a certain ethnic subculture, Dell is nothing more than a band of gypsies looking for rubes.

Rubes lol. There's that word again.

It's true though. The corporate entity that Dell panders to won't use DFS (scam), so they need to rely on Johnny Consumer to pile in on that gravy train.

Their track record with the consumer entity however, one would think would be enough to detract them from ever purchasing a Dell branded anything. DFS or otherwise.
