So the hinges for my display on my Dell Inspiron 1150 are completely broken.
After looking at how its designed, it looks realllly flimsy on the inside.... Its just little peices of crappy plastic holding the screen up, with a couple screws holding it.
Is there any chance I can call and complain to get this fixed? My warranty is deffinately out. But something like this is a major defect IMO...
What do you guys think? |

Dell is completely immune to out-of-warranty complaints by anyone but their biggest institutional customers.
Computer shops probably see so many broken Dell hinges that they have found a source for the parts to fix them, costs nothing to call and ask. _________________ Rocke T Sinetist
