So I just happened to type I hate Dell into Google and hit send. This is what came up.
So that's about it. I'm not an employee, just a customer. I totally understand that customers are not always right. But don't treat me like I know nothing about computers just because I'm calling to purchase a Dell and have ten thousand questions about whatever.
Thanks to whoever put this site up. _________________ your girlfriend can't be frigid. you just updated her. |

| Quote: | | I'm calling to purchase a Dell | We would categorically advise against doing that. Dell was once a top choice, say about 1999.
Today, they outsource all their engineering to China, all their support to India and Phillipines. Their products are chronically underdesigned and unreliable. Their support is incompetent and dodgy. You will never get a straight answer from sales or support. And gawd help you if you use their in-house financing.
There are only 2 viable options for individuals: Buy from a storefront retailer, where at least there is someone who speaks your language you can take it back to if it doesn't work. Or assemble your own from highly-rated freemarket components. _________________ Rocke T Sinetist
