someone please help me!! i have a dell latitude d620 with admin password. i want to unlock it with the master password. the service tag no. is xxxxxxx.

I deleted your tag number. It won't help you get an answer, and it identifies the system to anyone inside Dell so we delete them for user protection.

There are universal passwords but even within Dell they are very hard to come by. Replacing the EEPROM may unlock it, but I don't know that for certain, or where BIOS stores the password, or that a blank EEPROM won't prevent it from booting at all. As it is, you' ve got nothing to lose by trying. If you don't have the equipment or skills, have a repair shop do it for you. If they know it's futile, they should tell you. But they may not know.

I Tested the password which is provide by you is not working. D620.....

Unfortunately, if the generic BIOS password key does not work for that system then you will need to get another CMOS battery for that Latitude D620. There is no other way around it. Sorry for the bad news.
