What was it that Todd said, I am in Waco and I would not bet against us closing the site. I am pretty sure we are closing and it will probably be coming in the next two weeks or so, maybe as early as next Monday. There is a rumor of a site meeting at 10:00am on Monday morning.

| Also another mcg employee here, all i got to say is that if they do lay me off and dont offer me another job that voids any contract that i signed so gateway or hp or hell even apple here i come. And micheal dell will get a lovely little email for every computer i sell. |

If this is really happening...then you need to go to the DR. /Dentist/Optician etc....& get your scrips filled & use all of your flex. spending acct. Because the Roseburg sites insurance was cancelled at 11:59 the day we were let go.
Make sure you pass the word onto those who are in need of these meds etc...so they are covered as best they can be! |

They only have the building rent free for 2 more years, and why would they not comment on the "rumors". If someone accussed me of something crazy, like laying off 400 people, and it wasnt true, I would be the first one at the newspapers defending myself, not hiding behind legal bullsh*t. Right now they are just getting the check ready to compensate the City of McGregor for the early departure. Thats all that Dell has on their mind right now and how much thier stocks will go up for not having to pay your salary anymore. |
