WTF!?!?!?!

You could improve by testing systems before they ship. Vista is Dells problem if it is shipped on a Dell that is sold as ready to go!!!%$##@%$#%!#%#@

What F'ing BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got a brand new Dimension E521 and Vista won't let me log in with the password I created at set up.

Rather than F around I figured I would just use the restore partition and start over. The f'ing thing asked for passwords for all 3 users (admin , me and guest) and won't take any thing.

It says admin and guest have been disabled.

BS!^%$^$#^!#@^$!

This thing has been running for 5 minutes at most.

Called tech support in India. She said she had heard of this before but had no fix.

Now my customer has to wait for his restore CD's to reload Vista.

I probabaly could have called MS but f that!

I wish I could say that your problems are over now that you can get into windows...But I'm afraid your problems with Vista are just beginning...When it first launched, just about everything was incompatible, and since Dell doesn't believe in testing anything, you guys wind up with the lemons.

Just a FYI we test the shit out of everythign and we did as well on vista, and reported over 700 bugs. The problem MS and management at dell rather ship it ASAP than fix the bugs.

That makes sense and I totally believe you.

It is sad though. It is only going to piss people off and now with HP selling this no risk warranty (you get your money back if you never use it) Dell is only going to continue losing sales to them.

HP used to have shitty support, but they learned from their mistakes, and they have actually improved it quite a bit.
