I used to work for an unnamed institution of higher learning.

One day they decided we are going to get a shitload of new computers. Nevermind that a bunch of the employees make $6/hour, no benefits, and they keep hiring two part-timers instead of 1 full timer (again, no benefits).

At least they have shiny new DELL computers.

Not only did they order about 20 dual core overpowered machines with two monitor plugins and DVI cables, (the most our users ever do is surf the web and download articles), they also ordered about 20 laptops for a 'small room', when they could have ordered small formfactor desktops and saved thousands of dollars.

Don't worry, though.

As long as there are stupid ass licking brain dead bureaucrats who jerk off to PC Computing and Donald Rumsfeld, Dell will have customers.

And I put this in 'i love it' because, well, if I dont enjoy watching all this stupidity and laughing, then I would have to cry and shoot myself.

Also I dont know which other forum to post this in.

You make $6 an hour, and you think bureaucrats are stupid? There are high school students with no job experience making more than that at McDonalds. Stop whining and go get a better job.
