It has been MORE than 30 days now...Feb 14th is when the computer arrived (at their warehouse). I still don't have my money back. The email they sent me said THIRTY days was their LEGAL requirement to return my money.
I have spoken on the phone with dozens of people...spent HOURS trying to find my money. Last week they told me 3-5 more days then yesterday they told me 10 more days.
It is more than $5000 that they owe me. How do I get my money back? Are there email address or phone numbers I can call other than these STUPID idiots that live outside of our country who have NO CLUE as to what is going on?
DELL has FOREVER lost me and a WHOLE lot of other people as customers. I would say DELL has lost several hundred thousands of dollars in business because of all of this. BEWARE PEOPLE THE PEOPLE AT DELL ARE CON ARTISTS.
NOTHING SHORT OF THAT.
So how long does one have to wait to get their money back? |

Dell 'loses' or 'forgets' a lot of stuff, most often obligations. And the phone people, even if you find one with a helpful attitude, do not have the scope to tell what went wrong or the authority to solve anything. Dell is the ultimate 'black hole' vendor.
Email dick_hunter(at)dell.com. He is VP of customer experience. Just tell him the bare bones of the problem as it stands today (not the whole background like why the refund) and give him case numbers, names, copies of emails they sent you.
To get this transaction behind you, don't go overboard ragging on what a schlock house Dell is. If you make it real evident you're through with Dell permanentlly he'll be less inclined to help you. _________________ Rocke T Sinetist

I agree with the con artist part...Especially Dell sales, who will promise you that the computer will cure cancer if you are dumb enough to believe it...And then tell you that it will bring your dead dog back to life if you don't believe the cancer story. |

Dell will keep your money for some time, interests thing or something like that (profit) and after a while you'll have your money credited back.
It's not because of you, it's the way Dell do business  _________________ I see DELL people!!
