It's been awhile since I left Dell, but it seems things have gone for the worse here in their Philippine site. Recruitment seems to have taken in bad people, if the posts in another board would be the gauge. This post from that board:
To talent acquisition: You brought the bad seeds to Dell
yung Fat austin powers character ng West nasa Dell na, syempre manager ulit (tanslatiion--the fat Austin Powers character from West is in Dell, of course he's a manager again)
yung Trigger happy pod lady ng West nasa Dell na rin (the trigger happy pod lady of West is also in Dell)
yung KATang gang manager ng Sitel nasa Dell na rin (the daft [the name-call here is actually a word play of the name of that person in Filipino] manager of Sitel is in Dell now)
B1 ng Dell 14 months na sa loob, Naging B1 after 9 month hold period bilang A5, 1 year pa bago maging B2. (B1 already 14 months in Dell, and only became B1 after 9 months hold period as A5, then 1 year more before becoming B2)
B2 ng Dell 3 months pa lang sa loob. Before Dell, 6 months pa lang ang experience sa isang outsource, hindi naman excellent performer (B2 of Dell only after 3 months. Before Dell, only has 6 months' experience in an outsource, and he's not an excellent performer)
B3 ng Dell 3 months pa lang sa loob... and the story goes on and on and on... (B3 of Dell has only 3 months...)
I rest my laurels, there is no change. Yes there is change in the horizon but until when will the light shine in these dark days of Dell...

Tsk tsk--more shenanigans from Dell Philippines:
are you guys from dell moa (Mall of Asia) or libis? coz i also got an email regarding a certain SL who gives sexual favors to the higher ups for better evaluation for a higher salary increase. sa libis kasi ok naman. yung food ok naman, di tulad ng nabasa ko sa isang post dito na puro mantika daw. i just want to know kung sa moa, libis or both sites yung mga kababalaghan na yan.
(Libis is ok. Food is ok. It's not like what you read in one post that it's full of fat. I just want to know if in moa, libis or both sites have these shenanigans).

| This would be my first time posting here. What triggered me to post is the fact that I am alarmed by the way things are going in Dell. As an agent, we get to observe more than our managers and rses. I have noticed that Dell has over looked their so called "The Soul Of Dell". Agents are reprimanded for their unprofessional behavior, attendance, their auxes, their metrics, for sleeping while on duty, for browsing non-work related websites, even dishonesty. Yes dishonesty. I was surprised when another agent told me about this case number 152311126. It's up to you how you would interpret the case. I just found out recently about this case. There are people who knows about this case. We were told by our RS that pending and canceling a dispatch is not allowed. Yep, the agent and rs were never reprimanded, no memo, no whatsoever. I don't know why the RS Manager didn't do anything about this when in fact there should have been. Why? Is it because he knows that he'll benefit with the good metrics? I don't know his reasons are. But this is what I know because my TSM told me about this "dishonesty in any form" is a serious offense, you can get suspended or worse, terminated. We had REXEs who got fired for manipulating their utilization, I should know because one of them was my batch mate. So if the RSM won't do anything about this hopefully the AMS and PDS would do something. This is just one case, one dispatch number. We can't tell if this is the first time he has done it. I am new at the call center industry but I am not ignorant not to know that this is cheating. We look up to our TSM and RS for guidance in doing our work the Dell way. This has happened right under your noses and if you let this one pass, then so much for Dell's winning with integrity. |

Yeah, I read your post over there at Pinoy Exchange as well.
