We are located in New Zealand and have attempted to purchase a new desktop for our office from Dell. We have reached the end of our tether with frustration from the people we have dealt with. We cannot speak to anyone who can make a decision or give us a sensible answer, let alone have a good enough grasp of the English language to be of any assistance to us. We constantly either end up in call centres Malaysia or India with people at the end of the telephone who are not interested in helping us. We were told at the time of order 2 weeks delivery - this turned into 4 weeks with no advice. We then attempted to cancel the order and this itself turned into a total nightmare. Then lo and behold the computer arrives in our office after we had cancelled the order with Dell. We now try to get the refund organised and the computer taken back as we have decided that if this is an example of the service we could look forward to we want nothing more to do with this Company Dell Computers. This we are still trying to organise and until such time as we have confirmation of a refund pending we will do nothing further. We have never had such terrible service from any Company we have dealt with and their attitude is they seem to not care one bit about the fact we are dis-satisfied. We are in a service based industry and if we treated our customers like Dell have treated us we would no longer be in business. A disgraceful performance is all we can say. _________________ Grant Harnish

Welcome, Grant.
If you encountered that level of inadequacy in sales, where they want you to call, imagine how it is when you call service, where they don't want you to call.
Too late to refuse delivery. Tell them it won't boot. Within 21 days, they have to take a defective system back with no 'restocking fee'. _________________ Rocke T Sinetist
