Despite the fact I promised to myself, never ever buy Dell computer again, I just bought a scratched/dented XPS 410 with Core 2 duo E6700 processor because of very attractive price. Got an acknowledgment e-mail, but no confirmation. Waited two days. No new e-mails arrived. Tried to call. They cannot locate my order! A script reading monkey has just suggested to place another order. First of all, there are no more such systems for sale, secondary I don't want to end up having two machines instead of one.
What could be done to find my order?
Thanks. |

I dont wanna sound like an asshole but "What did you expect when you bought a dell? (Done sounding like an asshole) I don't think you can do anything to locate your order now maybe it got lost in the system or like melee said got shipped to the wrong address without a number it happens.
If you dont get it soon debate the charges with your credit card company.
Btw how much was the price for it? _________________

Take a look at the acknowledgment e-mail, there should be an e-mail/phone # for you to call for support. _________________ I see DELL people!!

They didn't charge me on the first stage. So, the charge back is not an issue.
But, I want that system - it is about $450 less, then ordered as new.
$800 vs $1250.
And there are no e-mail or phone numbers within their acknowledgment e-mail.
Seems like, I need to go through the executive office again.
That really sucks. EVERY purchase I've made recently requires executive's office assistance.
What could have been simpler! Get on the web site, select a system, pay for it, get it shipped.
This company really sucks. |
