There are Dell motherboards on ebay. There are Dell cases on ebay. There are WD and other HD'S pulled from a Dell. There are CD-Rom CDRW DVD DVDRW drives from Dell. There are OS CD'S on ebay for Dell computers buy these dell parts build your own dell. Even if its the older model like the 2400 you can still say i built my Dell.

*Switching to grenade launcher mode and bringing down Helicopter*

*Gettign shot in back falling in pool*

Stupid- why would you take apart a dell for resale?
Cool- you can make a dell from scratch so its what you want and its diffrent from what dell offers.

the only reason to do this is the warranty...this is how:

look for a case. ask the seller for the service tag and look it up at support.dell.com find out if it has warranty. if it does, you can go into the original config page and see what was originally sold w/the pc. now you can decide if you want to buy it. get the parts cheap. then call TS and tell them the parts you want replaced or upgraded(if you can play that game) under warranty.
