I aquired four opliplex GX260's in various states of disrepair. One powers up but wants a password before I can proceed. I can't get to the bios or to selective boot to get around this. I can't find the password reset proceedure on the DCSE page that tells me how to get around it without knowing the original password. I tried removing the battery and the password jumper but to no avail. Can any one tell me what I am missing here?
Thanks,
AG. |

| I believe it is a bios password. Pressing F2 or F12 during boot does not let me past this password. |

| I got it. I finally found the online manual. The clear the password proceedure is different on this machine than it has been in the past. |
