For you info Vista will downgrade to th XP look "gracefully" if you dont have the proper graphics card or amount of RAM.
MS Have delayed the lauch of Vista yet again but Dell will provide with new systems shipping with XP software assurance meaning you can upgrade to vista for free when it is fully launched nect year |

| But who wants Vista? All Intel and AMD dual core processors have DRM on the chip and Vista will implement that fully. Plus, Vista locks the kernal so you cannot use the AV and antimalware programs of your choice. Plus, it is at least $50 more than XP Pro. I have the video card (nVidia GTX 7800) and the last clean Intel processor (Pentium 4 3.8GhZ) and 2GB Ram so I could easily upgrade and have Aero working. But I choose not to get Vista. |
