Hm. Personaly, I've had mixed expirience with Dell. I'm a computer builder, and I build custom PCs for people, and do some repair work, and the most often heard question I get is, "Can you build me something as good as the XPS desktop for 3,000?" And I have to laugh. Not only is Dell peddling inferior products, but they're peddling inferior products at a massively inflated price.

I don't have my buildsheet with me, but I can build an XPS like system for less than 2,000 dollars, and that's including things that the XPS doesn't have. Like a non-integrated video card. Like a 10,000 RPM RAID Array SATA system. Like an AMD X2 Processor. Like Corsair RAM with pretty RAM lights. Like a freaking clear sided case.

Dell used to be good. I had a Dell Inspiron 8100 that lasted for five years with only the hard-drive needing replacement after three years. But now, I look at Dell and I see a once fantastic buisness, that's gone straight down the gutter.

P.S. don't diss the NRA, I'm a proud, card-carrying gun-totting Massachusetts member.

I wok for Dell guys and it is really Hell.
The only answer to the question:
Can Dell improve? is Yes with respect for employees and customers, with a good support and with a mangement that is at least DECENT.

So...no way to improve

Keserian my system even beats an xps 600! And it cost me only 500.

You are a dreamer man. Ask the 4M guys who have their PC with burning batteries or all the customer requiring a support or the lie with gold fake support...or better, ask your management to talk 5 minutes of market and strategies .... No way, you will not lose, you have lost already.

People are to dumb to not buy Dell systems. They want a computer but have no idea whats inside of it or what to do with them other then get on the internet and then they have problems even doing that.
