Today I was looking to buy a Dell. I herd they were cheap and of great quality (And I've used ones at School that ran really well)
But one thing that agravated me when I tried to go buy one on their site is the fact they have no real option to put a real video card in most of the models except the most pricy models. And even those, the images, and the labeling is really deceptive, and if I didnt know as much as I do about computers I wouldve been tricked into buying a computer with shitty intergrated video. I've had intergrated video and it was horrible. |

Dell's have great quality?Are you snorting coke or something? J/K! 
Listen in all seriousness do not ever get a dell! Why? Cause they use cheap parts, They outsource tech support to india, and Dell has a crappy return policy!
Also if you want a computer either build your own or go down to the local computer store(Not Bestbuy,Compusa, or Circuit city) and ask them to build you one or if you have to order online for budget reasons either go to
http://www.ibuypower.com/mall/lobby.htm or http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/Default.asp They have great deals and offer better tech support then dell, Also you can customize the system like you want.
P.S. I hope i was able to keep you from making the 3rd biggest mistake of your life.

I would think that the fact that there is a site, www.ihatedell.com , dedicated to anti-dell feelings would be proof enough that they aren't quality. Also, the fact that there are many people posting about how there computers always go down.

it is kinda of interesting you go to a ihatedell website to complain about having a hard time ordering from them.
Interesting side viewpoint, think it about.

I know a guy who bought a pricey Dell with intergrated graphics.His nephews liked to play war games on it.They told him"dude your video sux".He ordered a card from Wal-mart.

And could he upgrade it? The video i mean, Cause most dells do not let you upgrade video even through pci. |

That was awhile back when I used that computer. I guess they've whent totally down hill since then. lol.
Dell's online store was the last straw. that and all the rants I read the internet when I was researching them to see if it was a good idea.
I'm not really desperate enough to get a cheap computer enough to buy from them. I found your site when I finished browsing their online store I typed "I hate dell" into Google and found your site. Cause I hate Dell.
The last time I used a Dell was at a call centre I worked at. That call centre was a horrible place to work at. Then this site only just confirmed my idea that Dell was horrible. it confirmed a lot of my fears. I was afraid Id get a computer that was worse than a used one. It's as bad as Cicero.
Anyways, I'm glad your site excists. It serves its' purpose well. I hope everyone knows Dell is horrible so they either go out of business, or start making computers that arent shitty. Sure cheap is good, but disguising cheap computers as quality ones is just EVIL. The tech support part I dont care about since I dont trust tech support. My view of them is as a whole anywere is what I read about Dell, which is funny because I never used tech support of any company. Most computers I've used were ones at schools, librarys and beige boxes we got built from "basement computer shops".
Sorry for the verboise response. I can't believe such a shitty computer company excisted. I thought Compaq was bad. |
