I haven't seen them yet and unfortunately I haven't had a manager that is disposed to talking about them for over a year. I know I BBQ'ed my manager royally. Of course I'm certain that his manager shared the info back with him. Privacy is another Dhell management myth.

I love Tell Dell. If your manager's score is bad enough, they'll replace them with a different one (reassigning them to an obscure project management role), without even reading the comments (going on the 3rd one in our group). If comments were read, they'd realize throwing different managers at us isn't going to fix a supply/demand/staffing/money problem.

They post the results now? (And you believe them? Twisted Evil ) The whole thing was cloaked in confidentiality (well that's what they said anyhow) when I was there.

If it worked at all, it worked in reverse. Like, if you said your manager was great, they figured you weren't suffering enough and fired him, then the new manager PIPd or outright laid off the whole group. That's exactly what happened to us.

We only had 2 underperformers out of 15--one transferred then quit, like he didn't really need a job in the first place. The other had a master's degree and was highly thought of in the group she came from, but was useless in a lab, literally couldn't work an oscilloscope. They cleaned her out the week before they cleaned the rest of us out. The first round of layoffs had already missed us, so we thought 'yeah, that's it for our group, they already got the only dead wood' but we only got to think that for 5 days Evil or Very Mad . Point being, that the PIPs were bogus--wholly fabricated--'course we already know that's standard procedure.

Word has it that the results will be gone over with your respective Manager starting July 17th, moving forward from there.

I can post or send you a copy of the TELL DELL from EMEA Cherrywood if you'd like?
It has alot to say about the inequality of pay, absolutely accurate comments about the Gaurd-dogs of Mis-management ( that's HR to you and me) and alot of negative thing's that are supposed to be "acknowledged and listened too , but are ignored every time" I wonder why they want to ask questions and then bin the answers????

Soul of Dell- --Black Cancer that eats you alive when you try to do the right thing.

Meritocracy-- only when you suck up too Mangement and prove your willing to Fu*k over anyone they ask you too, then you can be a Quality Lead , then maybe TL or some other made up management person.

Michael may have been forced to take back control cause Kevin had to go but I've seen him walked thru the Cherrywood building like a blind fool by so called Management to meet and greet, unfortuneately everyone he met was planted , previously arranged , whatever you call it. He was not allowed to meet or talk to anyone that was not meant to speak to him and he seemed so well programmed he didn't divert from the path he was told to walk. Michael lost his company years ago but he accecpts the Figurehead position.
Too give my opinion finally on the question- Can DELL improve?

No.... There is little or no pride in being a Dell employee ( in Ireland anyway) the only way to succeed is to have no honour or honesty. Lie to customers , colleagues and anyone else and you'll progress, stab people in the back and suck up to management and you'll go far for awhile in Dell. Dell's (mis)Management has created so much ill will in such a small country that they cannot hire the staff required, recruitment is impossible to fill the positions due to such incredible turnover and DELL has lost so much revenue with so many ex employee's who have nothing left but ill will and bad thing's to say about the once great company.
DELL is dead, bringing Mikey back now might be too late.
Sure next time he visits Cherrywood it'll be to announce it's closure, thing's are moving to Lodz Poland and Mike will say
"I'm a puppet here to say thanks for working for Dell, we really care what you have to say so fill out this survey and post it too someone who gives a F*ck" been nice knowing ya
