Dell complaints

Hi how is everyone.

Is there anyone here that works in the new Dell offices in Glasgow, Scotland, UK?

I start Tech support in March and was wondering if working for Dell is really as bad as everyone on here says?

1, yes..it is bad.

2. there is no Dell Family anymore

1) Dang, sorry. I would have thought Scotland would be like a last refuge of sanity and values. Theoretically, the best Dell location. But likely infected by US cannibalistic management directives. Welcome to the New World Order.

2) Yeh, the 'family' thing is SO-O-O-O 90's. There's still the posters, but that's ALL there is.

Dell is not a bad place to work. If the alternative is a coal mine, or nothing at all. I know Palpatine from Star Wars is evil and out to take over the universe. But if I didn't have a job and he offered me one...
