That is so hillarious. I dont think I could handle myself like that man did though. I would have probably told the guy where to go. That makes me feel bad for the guy. I will not buy a dell though.

Now i know the most if not all of the dell reps that post on this site are not like that, but i can understand why some people get on here extremely pissed. If i was trying to get tech support and i had a guy act this rude, i would fuckin lose it. That guy was way too calm, i would have been doing it right back at this guy. I also would have stayed on the line and enjoyed the show so that he would eventally have to hang up.

its also on youtube, look for dell prank call.. and it was played on G4.. a few days ago... they bleeped DELL out of the call, but when the presenters came back after it was played.. the lady said DELL, and the dude even said the panama rep had good rhythem "little girl little girl little girl little girl......"

OMG! Very funny! Of course in tech support I've witnessed dozens of techs mute the line and say things like that, but never directly to the customer. If he wanted to get fired, at least he went out with a bang and not a wimper. And for the customer, his ego may have been stung but at least I hope he saved himself grief and went to another company for a computer.

Yep, if it's true--the video was obviously produced, but whether the soundtrack was, who knows?--Roberto was actually providing the best customer experience, by making the guy buy somewhere else.

did anyone who worked for dell hear the other phone call? it was from a husband and wife who called into dell and got the reps vm... it started off nice enough, then they thought they hung up on the rep.. but they didnt and they then started to talk about what they were gonna do that evening... "Im gonna come home and give it to you" LOL
