I love the people that call and threaten to sue Dell b/c the $299 computer comes out to around $500 after $99 S&H and taxes. "Dell is using false advertising..blah blah blah" Mr/Ms. Customer, the real issue here is your own stupidity. First of all you expect the world from a basic system, and don't realize you get what you pay for. These people are a huge reason I let my close rate suffer because I refused to sell no-margin, stripped down POS D2400s and just upsold to people that actually had money or credit. Anyone with common sense who has a clue how advertising works would obviously know that yes we put low prices all over print and tv to draw the calls in and then try to upsell. Well duh....how the hell do you think sales works?
