remember my old post of that smashed XPS R400....yes that one with the oversized pics!!!!! well yesterday I decided to finish off the cpu Twisted Evil

I trimmed back some bushes on the side of my house and decided to burn the branches and I thought waht a good time to have fun with a intel. here are some pics of the damage. Very Happy

lol if you read what I said instead of being a total noob you would know it was a intel. I was thinking of what to do with the GFX card. and this card is a 8mb, you still think it is a good card???? im pretty sure your a idiot for not knowing the difference between a cpu and a graphics card

Was that a slot loaded CPU card? :O I think that is the first time I have actually seen one of those.

The first PC I ever used was a slot A AMD Athalon 700MHz [old school]

The slots are from the PII and PIII days of processors. By the end of the PIII line, sockets were more common than slot loaded processors.

Interestingly enough, the PowerMac G4 that is residing in the lab, kaput, has a daughter board with both processor and northbridge on it. Perhaps this is what the slot loaded processors did as well, but this is merely speculation.
