Well fellas, Dell Tech Support no longer exists in Argentina. Closed today.

I was getting used to it. Sad.

Good luck to the rest.

To the dell tech reps in ARG: Please post your feelings about this closing, and share your experiences at Dell tech in Cubecorp.

As far as I know not only Supervisors were relocated...

Cubecorp-Technion has an account with another company: Lynksis. They will be opening another tech support branch for the previously named company.

Sales, argh.

Luckily, I'm in for the L2 Linksys tech support, starting up on April 18th.

About the Dell staff relocation, almost every ex-Dell employee took the Linksys test, but as I've heard, only a few people got the job. I guess everyone else is going to sales. And the rest... well. You know.

I was told that Lynksis tech support is one of the easiest things on Earth...

Customer has a problem, you tell him/her to unplug the router/modem plug it again and if he/she still has the problem they are referred to a web page.

Probably not exactly the way I described it but kind of, right Question

Well, you're almost right. Linksys support is kind of a filter for real problems. People often have troubles with installation, so there's a website that has a better installation than the installation CD included with the router (Actually it's not better, it's easier). You just have to guide them to the website to download that tool, and you're ready to go.

Easy as Dell :p.

is there any reason why dell left cubecorp? there were too many parts involved: cubecorp itself, technion, Decision One as well... does anyone have any clue on that?

I've been asking around and nobody could tell me.

I guessed someone from the States would be able to answer that question...

i think that the company doesnt really cares about all the people that was working there, iīve been thech support for a month and the job was great, wasnīt the best job but i really liked the people in that project.
i was one of the operators and now, really, i see that our job was not payed properly cause here in buenos aires, the bilingual operators has a better salary. but well... now i have to keep on movin.. and thatīs it. i hate dell. Mad

i opened 2 dell projects in arg. opened cc back in 2003, and now ts, they are both closed jeje! still working for technion but not for long, it's getting shittier every day you come to work, and my shift has been moved thousands of times without my request. the new linkys project seems to be a complete bummer, we have no chance of doing anything, if someone wants help installing a pci card, we deny it, and the only thing we do is configuration of like a thousand products that work all of them the same... forget about thinking!!! anyway, that shouldnot be a problem in a good working environment, but we are missing that too. most of the ex dell ts agents were rehired, some of theme were not, resolution specialists were putted back on hte line as agents, jeje! good!... what can i say?
