The word is Micheal Dell sent an email to all the employees telling them everything is fine.
Shades of Ken Lay. A company doesn't go from 42 to 24 in 9 months unless there is something seriously wrong. It's plain for all to see. Dell is the next Enron, and Michael Dell is the next Ken Lay.
Does anybody have the text of the message? It would be very interesting reading! Can you post it?
I think Friday. But I don't have specifics. It is being talked about on the Yahoo Financial Board for DELL.
If it was late Friday, that would explain why we don't have copies of it yet. But it is kind of funny how the stock has been cut in half in the last 9 months and Micheal is following in Key Lay's foot steps with a message to the employees: "Everything is fine."
The fact is that in-spite of huge reported earnings, the book value of the company never gets above $2 a share. All the cash is used to cover the dilution of the stock options given to the senior exec's and to prop up the stock price. Share holders ought to be saying "Wait a minute... This isn't right." Maybe when the stock price gets to $15 they will wake up???
