Michael Dell fell to 37th richest billionaire in the world, according to a Forbes ranking Thursday.
Last year the Round Rock-based Dell Inc. (Nasdaq: DELL) founder placed 25th on the list with a net worth of about $17.1 billion. This year, the lowered that worth to about $12.3 billion.
The listing said Dell, 44, lost millions this year scooping up huge chunks of his own stock. He reportedly purchased $200 million worth in just two months last. |

| Personally, I'd be very happy to be the 37th richest person. Hell, I'd even settle for 40th or 50th place. But Michael Dell won't stay on the list long wasting money on Dell stock. It's time for them to start paying dividends and stop pretending to be a growth stock. The shareholders should be demanding changes. |

What difference will it make what position he is in if Uncle Sam ever decides to really investigate his A**? A nice indictment and conviction and all the money in the world won't mean a thing. He will still be "the NEW guy" or "fresh meat". Of course he will never do time, but we can dream.
