Let me first start off on how this began. First off on my Dell Inspiron E1505 I had a problem with my LCD having a type of crack and lines in the internal monitor. I spent over an hour talking to a dell support tech on my issue. Finally she realized that it was my LCD. They shipped me a box and a LCD in which I shipped out on 3/20/07. The lady told me it should be fixed 5-10 days. After 3 weeks and no email or phone call on the status on my laptop I called Dell back. I talked to 5 different people at 3 different numbers. Everytime I told someone my story I got referred to someone else. Finally I talked to a lady that gave me resolution just to find out it was a lie. It was on Friday April 6th and she told me my laptop was fixed and I should receive it on Monday. GREAT!!! Monday came no comp Tues then Weds still no sign of my laptop. So I called a tech he told me to hold for 2-3 mins well I was on the line for 20 no sign of him called back spoke to another tech and she pulled up my records and I told her that another Rep told me that I was suppost to get my laptop back on Monday and didn't. She looked up info on the depot center and she told me that the LCD was fixed but when they were doing diagnostics they found a problem with my laptops memory and she would email them to expedite it. FINALLY, today 4/20/07 exactly a month later after sending it out I received my computer back. Open it up to just find out that it was untouched YES, untouched. Receiving a letter stating. That they received my computer on March 12, 2007 (YET ANOTHER LIE- Note me saying I shipped it out on the 20th of March). And that the problem is not covered by my warranty and they have not received payment for the necessary repair. WHAT? I have not heard from dell about any type of payment issue on my repair. nor about my warranty. and due to limited space they shipped it back? They had it a month if space was that big of a problem why did they not contact me.
I call Dell and tell yet another tech about the issue I had. He apologized and said the other techs were probably wrong only because their systems only update every so often. Ok I am a person with common sense. and you tell me even if the system is not updated is it gonna lie to the rep telling them it was shipped out. or that it was fixed and their doing other repairs in reality it was never touched it was on "hold". All the guy said was he apologized. DANG, I wish I could just apologize and make all these problems go away. I wasn't gonna settle with no apology when my LCD was not fixed. He refered me to a number in which the guy told me the best he could do was have it sent back and fixed. and if it goes on "hold" he would email me for any charges that I might have to pay if warranty does not cover it. I even talked to his supervisor. WOW, such great service. Maybe this would of worked the first time around. and I would of paid charges if they came aware to me. But, I am very, very unsatisfied. I have never in my life had this much problems with technical support through any company. If they did not do right they make it right. I've already spent money on phone calls to dell using my cell phones airtime and lots of time discussing issues, finding my status, etc. 1 month having my computer being lied to just to say ship it back so it can go ON HOLD again and we can charge you. I would say 90 % of the techs I talked to I spent twice the amt talking to them having them repeat theirselves because their english is poor.
I will not subside until this issue is solved so both me and dell are satisfied.

I HAVE SOME WHAT OF THE SAME PROBLEMS WITH DELL, IF YOU NEED TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE THERE HIS NAME IS CHARLES STEVENS HIS EXT IS 7257265
TELL WHAT IS GOING ON HE IS IN POSITION TO DO SOMETHING IF THAT DOES NOT WORK CALL THE BBB IN AUSTIN 512-445-2911, THEY HAVE A PERSON THAT HANDLES DELL ONLY
