paul_dellcc I agree with this quote of yours 100% "If we don't remember our past, we can't understand our present and we can put in danger our future"
Just cuz people died for dell in the past we cant forget the hard work they put in for the company and got treated like sh****.Dell never cared for the lowly worker who really gave their sweat and blood working 14-15 hours a day to keep the customer satisfation levels high so that dell could be #1 and sell more units.Outsource but do not make it a freaking sweat shop.But hey for 200$ a month per agent they think that buys respect humm.

I thought it was an "american way" to insult Customer/Technical/Sales/Whatever representatives.

But I've seen in another projects such as Motorola, AOL, that the customers don't insult neither yell at the rep. So, it's not an "american way" it's just that they are tired, too tired of being screwed.

To sum up, you are 7 1/2 hours talking to 60-65 irate (with reason) customers, submerged in a backround where you can't go to the toilet, you can't get ill, you can't represent your country in sports and hundreds of things which I don't have enough space here...

However they still want you to have a -7.40 min AHT, arrive 10 minutes before your shift and never leave on time (always something happens with your last call...) you must have CSAT above 80%, you must follow the "dress code" Shocked I didn't know there are hidden webcams where the customers can look at you Shocked

I'm mad just by remembering these things...I'll continue later or another day, sorry.
