Looking at the situation, one wonder were the problem of DELL is..
Assuming that we all (WORLD WIDE) have the about the same problems, where does the problem come?
Is it the nature of a CALL CENTER
IS the deep contrast between DELL culture and DELL REALITY?
Is it HR and if unanability to target the problems and resolve them?
Or is it training? Meaning, they sell us a great ideal, and then we get shit!
In this area I dont can really blame training, since i HAD the best trainer I could posible wish for. None the less, talking to others, i see than they weren't so lucky.
Is the problem on training? _________________ In DELL PANAMA corruption comes in all directions! Above, below and sideways. |

Probably. Our training in Canada was shit. Spent most of the time learning how to navagate in DPS and basic support policy. Never any training on how to fix a computer, or how to deal with irate customers. Our trainer spent most of the time in the smoking area or doing bumps in the bathroom. _________________ I may not agree with what you say, but I will fight for your right to say it.

George XXXXX was my manager at Dell...... If he read this... he will know right away i´m talking about him, he was nice at the beginning, like in 2004, after a few months, HR began applying pressure to him and he chage his attitude with the Team... most of the Team members then began to complaint about his methods..... i´m not sure if he is keeping still the Same, but the Last Tell Dell i did, everybody throw him big hits.... _________________ Just an Ex-Dell Employee |

i got the best trainer also... but i dont see trainning like the "thing" that will make you survive the FLOOR... i see it as a preparation to the floor... cuz you will not know fully how to treat customers or how to help them (CE) if you dont practice that... the only way to do it would be takin calls _________________ You keep talking but all I hear is blah, blah, blah... |
