But the real point here, is that he didn't want to be helped at all. Otherwise he would have posted his problem in the Computer Help section.

I believe there is a reason why he didn't reply, and that reason is what I've already explained.

Ok ive read all around and cant seem to find out how to upgrade my inspiron 1150. I want to upgrade my cpu to the fastest one my motherboard can handle. I also DO NOT want to buy a new computer. I just want to make my current computer good enough to actualy use without getting pissed off at it. Someone please tell me excatly what and where i can buy it. I will attempt to buy it and install it i am also thinking about upgrading my ram if anyone can also tell me where i can get 2 512 mb dimms of ram for a good price and will not give out.

My computers current config is:

512 ram
2.4 ghz intel celeron

This computer is only a year old and has not treated me too bad(exept for some minor problems)

and it looks like the 1150's motherboard uses pretty standard cpus - though all the info i have is taking it apart to get a computer shop guy to solder it - it still doesn't work but thanks anyway (so due to not having a working laptop i've just spent 2 weeks in china with NO INTERNET! the horror... ) Twisted Evil

oh - pspgamer - i think the chances of anyone minding you insulting bush are slim - given that people who are anti dell are mostly anti big companies in general, and thats what bush is pro, pretty much. Plus there are at least 2 non-americans in this forum, and i don't know about the argentinian, but i think pretty much all brits would prefer to see kerry in the white house - and probably most foreigners.
