ive got 1,3,2 bios beep code & green, yellow, green, yellow leds on back of mobo...

both tell me its the ram....
trouble is, we have 2 of the same dell 8250 & swapping the pair of cards & pair of terminators back n forth yeild no change in either. this still errors, the other still works.
same deal w/ power supplies,
and w/ & w/o pci, agp, ide in the sickly one
all i havent swapped is the cpu!
i dont suspect cpu's related -please correct me if need be
I could use some ideas as to what's next....
(I intend to remain in denial about the mobo's death till someone in the know tells me whats up here...)

sounds like a motherboard failure if the same memory works in another system. I hope you are still under warranty. Call the wonderful support technicians that are Dell India and they will replace the motherboard after 20 hours of troubleshooting. Well, hopefully you will get a smart one and it just takes an hour or two.
