Not a problem sick, I just felt the need to jump in as I felt things were getting a bit out of control.
This is yet another issue of the dell culture.
Profess they wish you to be a team then have an atmosphere of stepping on your fellow coworker.
I agree with funny to an extent, it is what you make of it.....BUT, there will always be outside influences you have no control over that will definately change your feelings and outlook.
We old timers know this, and rather than bashing someone, should recall when we were that naive and it be good enough to know we are no longer blinded by the blue light. |

Good thing for me I knew that one and all are cut from the same cloth, and I knew bullshit when I smelled it.
Too bad I still stayed thinking "it may change". Didn't fall for the propaganda, but did stay for the donuts. Now to get my *cough* bonus/raise so I can serve notice and haul my ass outta there. |

Hmmm, in tech support if you give a notice they get you a box for your things and have you escorted out the door ASAP. |

Hmmm, in tech support if you give a notice they get you a box for your things and have you escorted out the door ASAP. |
When I gave my notice my mgr said use up all your time off and just make sure you work your last day to get credit for all of it. |

This may be true with some people, and I can't say I wouldn't fit that category. Not because I'm no good at what I do, but because they can't tame me so they'd likely just punt me to the curb.
However, if notice is given and they release me, they have to pay me time in lieu of. If they'd rather pay me to stay away and I can use those paid days to do hunts and interviews...why not?
And I fully intend to use up all my holiday time as well before I go. I earned that too, so I'm gonna use it. |

Actually, it was given to you. Not too many companies give 11 paid holidays a year, but yes, I will be using mine as well. I am doing it more cause they owe me for making me stay on spherion for 9 months before giving me the days off and stuff.

lol, yeah, i understand what you are sayin now. Yeah, we deserve more than that, considering the 200% bonus the idiots received. oh well, yeah, still getting paid for an extra month will definitely be beneficial.
