Dell complaints

I worked for Dell in Edmonton, and I HATED the HR woman, to the point where I would go directly around her and refuse to talk to her.

Rumour has it that HR hasnt been paying full terminaiton checks and poeple that retain legal counsel are getting 30 full days of pay (a legal requiremnt) and and an avberage of $7000 in unpaid final wages that you would be owed in overtime commisons that are being calculated wrong/ I f youhave been termed you should check into this. Also one of HR friends in Austin says Dell has been forced to pay real overtime (time plus time and a half) instead of that token half time only. Are jobs were classified wrong but its chaeaper to pay us off one at a time that admit guilt for 10000 people over the last 18 nonrhs.

Nah, I wasn't terminated. I stopped showing up because I got a job elsewhere.

Happy Turkey Day, perhaps those that read this have found an inner peace that can only come when you have been set free. Whether that is from an abusive spouse, a corrupt corporation, or even a habit like cigar smoking. Stop the corruption. Pay correctly. Treat your people with respect Mr Dell. 70 hour mandatory weeks are not very family friendly, my kids dont know me anymore. I miss the 40 hour weeks at a low paying job. I dont miss the low paying, but I dont know what I would do with 40 hour weeks.
