Attorney General Andrew Cuomo of New York State has begun a class action suit against Dell Financial and Dell in general.
Here is my advice. Contact the Ohio Attorney General with your complaint and do a google search for Andrew Cuomo's case. Let your Attorney General know what Andrew is doing.
I am well aware of Dell Financial's bait and switch as I have worked on cases involving this.
They promise 6 months or more credit with no interest and then sell your agreement to another firm that then rachets the percentage points up to usury amounts -upwards of 22 percent.
Call you atty general.

Class action
1) fraud- federal level contact Federal Trade Commission (bail and switch)
2) call all the credit reporting companies usually 3 main ones- place letters in all files stating this see if a councillor can see you. Bring your documents
3) better business bureau file a complaint
4) yes your Attorney General do not wait on New York, it will just be noted in Law books which might help your case but your in Ohio not NY
5) According to their proxy agreements (and the Inc. was in Delaware 99.9% are filed there- Their agreement states they follow certain laws. File a Complaint in the district of Columbia. Washington DC. Those can be accessed via internet.
6) as per their proxy signed by Michael O. Dell page 5 (2008) Corporate Governance Principles- The board of directors believes that adherence to sound governance policies and practices is important in ensuring that our company is governed and managed with the highest standard of responsibility, ethics and integrity and in the best interest of the shareholders. The board maintains a set of Corporate Governance Principles intended to reflect interactions with other. A copy of those principles can be found on our website www.dell.com/corporategovernance (page 5/6 ) this year proxy statement
7) (page 39) Audit committee's responsibilities are described more fully in it's charter, same website as above). Managements has the primary responsibility for the preparation and integrity of Del's financial statements, account and financial reporting practices and internal controls and procedures designed to assure compliance with accounting and applicable laws and regulations. (MEAT) Dell's independent auditor, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (use to be a big acct for Dell long time ago not sure about that anymore main office in NY) is responsible for performing an independent integrated audit of consolidated financial statements and effectiveness of internal control over financial reporting and expressing an opinion thereon.
So Review auditing statements standards No. 61 as amended and you can file with the securities and exchange commission because they are not adhering to what I believe (novice) THE CHARTER document in which they are to comply with state and federal laws which that have broken by selling off your string of monthly payments on the computer, if not in writing they have the option to do so and raise your rates. The is common on large ticket items but if you can produce your signed copy of the lease/purchase agreement they can't change your rate, unless you miss a payment of two..... and it is in the contract.

9) how did you get your contract? did they mail it to you? That is another type if Crime (watch the Firm with Tom Cruise) at the end the law is true 100% about it becoming a federal office and the post master inspector general can get involved. (Read up on Postal laws)

I hope to have helped you -- gave you probably to many facts better of to be prepared than not. I am not a lawyer just a fighter!!!!! Rusty
