| Sent in my Inspiron 6000 for new battery repair (why they couldn't send out a battery, I don't know). When it arrived in their hands, the screen was broken. They want to charge me $500 to fix it. I told them it wasn't broken when it left in the box they sent and the shipping method they chose. They just give me the run around and refuse to fix even the battery now till I pay for a new screen. What can I do? |

Keep calling in and escalating the call. Or try to contact the corporate office and explain to them your situation and the refusal for the repair.
Please don't be upset with the techs. They're just doing what they're told. Being angry with them will not help your case. Being patient will. Be as calm and collective as you can. _________________ I may not agree with what you say, but I will fight for your right to say it.

Dell should send him an Exchange and then charge DHL for it.
Next time, open it in front of the DHL guy before signing (if you can). And if there is something wrong don't accept it. _________________ I see DELL people!!
