Dell complaints

I don't know if anybody noticed yet, but check out the computers in CS_Office on Counter Strike: Source

They look a lot like a Dell, but are branded "Beefy Computer" Makes me wonder if Valve has something against Dell. You can even smash them up

You are right, KE7EHA. Those computers do look like Dell's dirty cheap Dimension product line. I guess Dell's Product Placement Team really screwed up on this assignment. With regards whether Valve has a problem with Dell or not, my question is "Is there anyone out there that Dell has not pissed off at some point?"

Hmmm... These pictures have given me an idea. I wonder if a FPS game that involves blowing away Dell computers might sell. Even if it doesn't, it would be a great way to relieve the daily frustrations from Dell. Laughing

Nice i dont play CS(Bf2 is my game) But i think i'll just go buy it to smash dells! Very Happy

Oh and apathy you can mod any fps to do that.

I was playing CS 1.6 the other day, and I checked the map for CS_Ofice in the older version. The computers do not look remotely like this, and you cannot destroy them. Since valve was the only entity involved in making CS Source, they were the only ones that could have re-skinned the computers to dell-like machines, and also made them smashable. Smile

I think valve has a problem with Dell, don't you? Very Happy
