BTX is a better cooling solution for computers, as it has a clean air path through the case, as well as across the motherboard. This was important for prescott machines, but now since processors are running cooler, the added cooling inherent in the BTX case is not required.
There are many ATX/BTX cases out on the market, which can mount either standard of motherboard. As I can see it, BTX is here to stay. Now, Dell may go away from their BTX cases, but who cares about them. _________________ "The art of Engineering is knowing what you can safely ignore." -Dr. H. Hess
