Needs to be moved back in the rumors section, but it's over now, so it won't be the same...

For a moment, I thought you were refering to Scoop. In which case, that whip takes on a whole new phallic meaning!

I still fail to see the problem. Like I said, unless they have a parade down the middle isle of your building, how hard can it be to avoid?

It's a must for a company to encourage their employees to get along with each other as best as possible. It will make them work better.

If you promote any kind of sexual preference, religious, racial party, there will always be a group which is left behind. That will interfere with their coexistence.

So, in my opinion, the company should stimulate parties where all their employees are involved with.

Yes - because straight people have so few opportunities to express themselves in a supportive environment.

Are you mentally challenged or something similar Question

That's not the point. And it's not because Spanish is my mother language and not English...

Given that your first response is an ad hominem attack on my intelligence, there is no responding to you.

You all seem to think that gay employees get something extra or something special because Dell puts on a gay pride show. Let me spell it out for you - we don't get anything extra.

Gay employees do NOT get time off to attend the events.
Gay employees do NOT get extra money or benefits during gay pride month.
Unless an employee is a salaried employee, they cannot belong to any of the pride groups. That means that most of the people attending the events are MANAGERS.

Oh - and this is one reason I have begun to hate Dell. Because while management is patting itself on the back and getting all kinds of awards and kudos for promoting an open work place, Dell remains a hostile place for anyone who is not straight. Your posts are proof of that.

I said that about your intelligence because of one of two reasons:

1) You didn't undersand my post.

2) You don't want to understand it.

It has nothing to do with being gay. It's about leaving someone behind.

I never said that gay people gained something with the pride.

No, I don't get your point because you have yet to make one. Just a vague reference to how "someone is left behind". What exactly is that supposed to mean? How are you - personally - left behind?

Straight people don't share a gay pride.

Catholic people don't share a Muslim pride, etc.

Only work things should be involved in a work party. Like celebrating that metrics are above standard, a new call center will open, etc.

Do you need a picture Question Because I can draw one for you...

I asked you to give examples about how you personally got left behind. You - paul_dellcc - how are you left out of the celebrations at Dell?

No, Catholics don't share Muslim pride but we do close most of our shop on Christmas, do we not?

As a straight man, when was the last time you personally felt your job was at risk because you are a straight man? Frankly, what it sounds like isn't that you feel left out but that you want gay people to go back into the closet.

You have drawn me a picture, paul_dellcc and it's the usual drivel of those who take their priviledges for granted.

actually that is a NATIONAL holiday celebrated almost all over the world not just in the US. Last time I check there wasn't a Gaymas. And if there was a another paid holiday for it, I am sure a lot of people wouldn't mind it. Though I wonder which month would be the more gayer?

Well, hopefully, we won't get to a point in our society where we must have a certain % of gays and group them into the minorities requirement. Plus I am really scared if we as a society could allow gays to sue employers. I mean lets say you get fired because you had a bad performance record. In the future, gays are going to sue employers because they felt they were let go because of the hole they plug.

Yea, it is funny because no where on these boards do you ever see anyone calling you a 'fag'. Yet, gay people seem to punish anyone who doesn't believe in them. Think about it. Here I am a person who doesn't care who you like to stick. Hell, I don't care if you gay people accidently try to get my phone number which happen once or twice in the last year. Some people would actually try to beat any gay person for trying to pick them up.

We are just saying if you are going to have Gay Pride Month I say lets have:

Hot BiSexual Month
Sheep Loving Month
Porno Downloading Month
Unisex Month (hell I want to celebrate the fact I love my hand)
Single Mothers Month
Stalkers Month
3Some Month
People who like to be shitted on Month
I hate ALL MEN Month
Drunk Sluts Month
Gateway Computers Month
Ass Kissers Month
IhateDell.net Loving Month
People who like to post on message boards Month
