Are there only Indian representatives at Dell Customer Care?.
I would like to get opinions from other people regarding this matter.
I have heard complaints about English speaking Indians Rep., about their bad accent and difficult understanding... But are these the only Dell Customer Care Rep.?...
I heard there were some from Latin America... and they may not be that bad speakers. Besides, latin people are often more sensible and expressive, I hope thet care more about all the issues.
What do y´all think ??????

well there are Customer Care reps from India, Latin America and the Philippines. But sad to say Sad , majority of the Cutomer care reps are from India.I dont think you have to poll that one.

I, for myself were getting a lot complaints about Customer Care reps from India. They all suck. Giving out false expecations and bad experience to customers.

hate those reps Evil or Very Mad

You know there are quite a few of us who are AMERICANS. I work for Dell (yeah I ain't proud), and I was born in, raised in, and now WORK IN the US. New England to be exact. I know you guys are frustrated but I get a bit tired of people calling me a "liar" when they ask if I'm from the US and I say yes. You may not think so, but Dell has several call centers that are stationed in the US. And all of them employ quite a few people.

I would love to be able to talk to you. Or to any American support person.

I have been wrestling with a technical problem for about three months, and every time I talk to Dell, I have to start all over again. My system is deteriorating, and online help contains so many errors I am afraid to trust it.

I need to talk to a real person, and people from non-American cultures are too subservient to their employer. They have no clue what to do with problems for which they have no prefabricated answer; and, because they have the mentality they do, they have no motivation to go beyond what is written. Americans are by nature more proactive, in general, and have a much better idea of legitimate customer expectations.

The only time I have gotten really good help was the one time I accidentally got an American on the phone. That was just after I had bought my system, over a year ago. Since then, talking to Indians and such, I have gotten garbage, almost exclusively. Very polite garbage, to be sure, but garbage nonetheless. Worthless, time-wasting nothings that have played havoc with my blood pressure. (That's a thought: how many customers will Dell manage to give strokes to before they get their act together?)

I paid for 2 years worth of support, and I'm not getting it. I just discovered this website today; I'll be posting the whole story soon.

Better yet, post the problem, and perhaps we can help resolve it.
