Seeing today is the 13th (ie. the day "B4 Valentine's Day") have they hit their mark or will they be giving out some early presents to others? It seems like they have managed to keep the "exits" pretty low-key and not in the real media limelight. How have they done that?

Why did Dell pick St Valentines Day to do the layoff? Are snakes associated with Valentines Day?

I'm still working in TF so I guess that prediction wasn't a good one. Infact they had a few newhire classes this month and bought/installed a bunch of 37" tvs that doesn't do anything more than what queview.exe does. I Haven't heard of anyone getting PIP fired in Twin lately. Maybe they'll hold off for another month or 2. Or maybe they're just dumping Canada. Kinda sucks. I was looking forward to a sev package, unemployment checks, and some time off. It's been warm lately and I have Spring fever now... Smile

Still waiting for the other predictions for the middle of this year. There should be another major economic collapse then and around the same time the food shortage that we're in should kick into high gear.

So does anybody have any idea on how many so far have been released?

Are we finished or should we expect more before the 28th...

Or are we going to have to live with the possibilities each and every day for the rest of our duration under ther realm of Dell, until we either are chosen to leave or we leave on our own accord...?

Just also pulled this similarity to the Dell lawsuits from Wikipedia...

Enron Creditors Recovery Corporation (formerly Enron Corporation) (former NYSE ticker symbol: ENE) was an American energy company based in Houston, Texas. Before its bankruptcy in late 2001, Enron employed around 22,000 people (McLean & Elkind, 2003) and was one of the world's leading electricity, natural gas, pulp and paper, and communications companies, with claimed revenues of $111 billion in 2000. Fortune named Enron "America's Most Innovative Company" for six consecutive years. At the end of 2001 it was revealed that its reported financial condition was sustained mostly by institutionalized, systematic, and creatively planned accounting fraud (see: Enron scandal). Enron has since become a popular symbol of willful corporate fraud and corruption.

For the entire article, see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enron

Sounds exactly like Dell's SEC filing problems to me... Even the company's logo and location are similar.

Crooked is crooked. Ironic how the ad agencies they commissioned to turn their Es sideways picked up on that.

I find it interesting that Fortune mag considered Enron's "creative accounting" a noteworthy "innovation" for six consecutive years. Laughing
